Today marks the final day of regular season play in Stage 2 of the Call of Duty World League, presented by PlayStation 4 in North America!
After 12 weeks of intense action, it all comes down to tonight for many teams. To highlight the importance of each match, it will be a simulcast stream, in which all four matches will be played at the same time. This is to ensure the fairest competition amongst all teams.
MATCHES
- H2K vs. Team EnVyUs
- Dream Team vs. OpTic Gaming
- eLevate vs. Rise Nation
- Cloud9 vs. Luminosity
PREVIEW
H2K vs. EnVyUs
While EnVyUs have secured a spot at the upcoming Stage 2 Finals, things are still up in the air for H2K. Going into this match, they’re sitting at #6 with an 11-10 record. This match will have a greater importance for H2K, and winning each map will be crucial to improve their win percentage.
Dream Team vs. OpTic Gaming
OpTic have secured their Stage 2 Finals spot, sitting at a 15-6 record. DT, however, is on the borderline. Entering this match, they sit at #8 in the standings based on win percentage. In their first matchup in Stage 2, OpTic won 3-1. If Dream Team are unable to secure a win in this match, they will have to rely on the results from Cloud9 and Luminosity’s game.
eLevate vs. Rise Nation
With a loss to 100 Thieves on July 6, eLevate are now in a very dangerous position. Sitting at #7 in the standings with a low win percentage, everything is on the line for them in the final day. Rise Nation have already locked in their spot at Stage 2 Finals, but a win here could gain them a better seeding at the event.
Cloud9 vs. Luminosity
This matchup will be the most intense series of the night. After big plays from Cloud9 against FaZe in their match last night, C9 secured a spot at Stage 2 Finals. Both C9 and LG have been on a roll in the second half of Stage 2, but this match is where it all matters for LG.
