The Wargaming.net Grand Finals took place last weekend at the EXPO XXI center in Warsaw, Poland, where twelve top teams from around the world met to battle it out for the Championship title.
The tournament was played in a 7v7 format, which each team having 54 tier points to spend on vehicles from tiers VI to VIII. The games were played in a attack/defense mode, where one team protected two base capture zones while the other team tried to either capture the zones or destroy all enemy vehicles.
In the end, it was HellRaisers who defeated all of their opponents and were crowned as the new World of Tanks champion. Let’s take a closer look at how the tournament unfolded!
The results
The event kicked off with the group stages: four groups consisting of three teams each. One team from each group was eliminated at this stage, with the eliminated teams as follows:

The exciting quarterfinals led to even more action-packed semifinals, where last year’s champions Na’Vi faced HellRaisers. The future winners took down the reigning champs 5-2, with the second semifinal played out between Kazna Kru and EL Gaming. The latter came emerged victorious with a 5-3 score.
The grand finale came down to HellRaisers and EL Gaming, with HellRaisers proving that they were worthy of the championship title with a decisive 7-1 win! Watch the entire game below:
The third place decider match was a clean sweep for Na’Vi, with them taking down Kazna Kru in a convincing 5-0 fashion.
