The 2015 FIWC grand finals are almost upon us! The 20 best FIFA players in the world will clash in Munich between May 17th and 19th to determine a new (or repeating) world champion. This year’s winner will not only take home US$20,000, but will also receive a trip for two people to the FIFA Ballon d’Or 2015.
The grand finals mark the conclusion of a longstanding tournament season, spanning over six seasons and multiple qualifiers. What was once a player field of over one million hopefuls has been cut down to the final 20 contestants, including last year’s champion August Rosenmeier, who will be attending his fourth consecutive FIWC grand final.
In true world cup fashion, 15 different nationalities are represented at the tournament, showcasing the magnitude of this truly international event. You’ll find the complete overview over all participating players right here.
