Starting tomorrow, the four best CS:GO and LoL teams in Southeast Europe will fight for the Season V title of the ESL SEC Championship. A prize pool of 10,000€ is on the line, €5,000 for each game. Check out which teams made it through the grueling qualifiers.
CS:GO
The Teams
After a series of intense regional qualifiers, four teams managed to stand out from the pack. Binary Dragons and Imperial won the group stage, which meant a direct slot to the live event. During the next phase, Nexus won the online playoff to secure their spot at the finals. Lastly, Outlaws won the Wildcard qualifier, a special qualifier only for Bulgarian teams to round out the line-up.
The CS:GO portion of the tournament set for June 24th, starting at 10am EEST (9:00 CEST). All games will be Bo3 and you can follow the action on the official livestream.
League of Legends
The Teams
Different Dimension, led by Ex-LCS player Forg1ven, and Team Horizon Reapers secured themselves the shortest route to the finals by winning the group stage. Hot on their heels were Instinct Esports, we fought their way through the online qualifier to represent Serbia at the finals. Last but not least, GPlay managed to come out on top in the Bulgarian qualifier to complete the bracket for the finals.
The LoL portion of the tournament set for June 25th, starting at 10am EEST (9:00 CEST). All games will be Bo3 and you can follow the action on the official livestream.
