Last weekend, the ESL studios in Cologne hosted the ESL One Battlefield 4 Spring 2015 Season Championships, where the world’s eight best teams battled it out for the title as well as their share of a €35,000 prize pool.

With the teams facing each other in two groups of four in a double elimination format, we saw many exciting matches and top Battlefield 4 action, but it was two undefeated teams who made it into the grand final. One was reigning champion and big favorite Fnatic, who have ruled the Battlefield 4 world since the first ESL One. The second finalists were Dexterity Gaming, the first ever Brazilian team to appear in the ESL One season finals. Despite being a relatively young and inexperienced team when compared with their competition, Dexterity swept their opponents and did not lose a single game on their way to the finals.

However, although Dexterity appeared very strong and promising, Fnatic proved yet again that there is no match for them. They defeated the Brazilian team with a decisive 3-0 scoreline and thus claimed their fourth championship victory!
