The ESL ESEA Pro League Finals are coming to Los Angeles for Season 2!

We are happy to announce that ESL’s Los Angeles studios will be playing host to the Season 2 finals of the ESL ESEA Pro League. After the thrilling Season 1 finals in the ESL studios in Cologne, Germany, the biggest CS:GO league on the planet is coming to ESL’s North American studios in Burbank, California to see the top four teams from both North America and Europe clash once more for their share of this season's total prize pool of US$500,000, with $250,000 up for grabs at the finals. Stay tuned for updates on spectator tickets!

From the 10th to 13th of December, we will see the best teams from both divisions of the ESL ESEA Pro League meet once more. With only the creme de la creme from each region making it to Los Angeles and some big names already in the running, the race for these spots just got even more exciting.

Virtus.pro and other legends have a tough road ahead of them

Europe: Will EnVyUs, Virtus.pro or NiP miss out on the finals?

While taking a look at the current standings of the European division of the ESL ESEA Pro League, the top four lacks some of the legends of Cologne - the top eight finishers from ESL One Cologne 2015. Right now, the second-placed EnVyUs and semifinalist Virtus.pro are behind in the race for one of the top four spots. While EnVyUs are only four points away from entering the top four, Virtus.pro lack thirteen. The next weeks will show if they can turn things around or if Team Dignitas and Natus Vincere will defend their spots to join Team SoloMid and Fnatic, the current leaders on the board, on the trip to the US.

The finals in California without Cloud9?

North America: More teams at the top, kicking out the legends?

In North America, the ESL ESEA Pro League has seen the usual suspects for the top spots falling behind the next-in-line teams a little bit so far. With Cloud9 and Counter Logic Gaming holding the second and fourth rank - only points away from losing them - and teams like Luminosity Gaming hot on their heels, the tension is almost at breaking point. Can compLexity, Team Liquid and others shake up the balance of power in North America or will the former legends of Katowice be missing out on the finals on their home turf?

Both the European and North American division action continues until Sunday this week, so be sure to check the ESL ESEA Pro League website for upcoming matches and follow ESL Counter-Strike on Facebook and Twitter for updates, highlights and more!
