Aspiring pro SMITE players rejoice! At the end of November, ESL UK will be holding a US$25,000 tournament to determine which European team is worthy of a spot in the US$150,000 Xbox One invitational that will be taking place at the SMITE World Championship in January 2016.
This is the only way for European teams to qualify outside the open bracket at the SMITE World Championship, so be sure to sign up for a once in a lifetime chance to compete among some of the best SMITE teams in the world!
The qualifiers
Of the two online qualifiers, one remains. This second and final qualifier is set to take place on October the 26th and 27th at 20:00 CET, with the top two teams from each qualifier to have their travel and accommodation to the UK-based offline final event covered by ESL.
The key details for the second SMITE World Championship online qualifier are as follows:
- When? October 26th and 27th at 20:00 CET
- Where? Online
- Open to an unlimited number of teams
- The top two teams will advance to the offline grand finals
- All team members must reside within the EU and qualified teams can only participate once
- Xbox One only

The European SMITE World Championship qualifier finals
Here four teams from across Europe will compete for one spot in the SMITE World Championship Xbox One Invitational alongside the world’s leading SMITE talent. The European qualifier will feature US$25,000 in prize money, and is the only path of entry into the US$150,000 Xbox SMITE World Championship for European teams outside the open bracket.
- When? November 28th and 29th
- Where? ESL UK Studio One in Leicester, England
- Best-of-three semifinals: Saturday the 28th of November
- Best-of-one third/fourth place decider match and best-of-five grand finals: Sunday the 29th of November
The prizes
The US$25,000 prize pool for the second European SMITE World Championship qualifier will be divided among the top four teams as follows:
- First place: US$12,500
- Second place: US$6,250
- Third place: US$4,000
- Fourth place: US$2,250
The SMITE World Championship qualifier finals will be broadcast at Twitch.tv/SMITEgame on the 28th and 29th of November, so be sure to tune in (or sign up)!
