The SMITE Pro League Fall Split is almost here, and you can join some of the world’s top teams in their fight by signing up for the ESL Fantasy league! Show your support, make your predictions and prove your SMITE scene knowledge to get to the top as well as win some great prizes.
How it works
ESL Fantasy for the SMITE Pro League Fall Split will be using a budget-based system. This means that ESL Fantasy managers will be given a starting budget of $5,500, which they must then use to buy players in order to make up a five-player team.
Fantasy points will be awarded as follows:
- Kill: 3 points
- Assist: 2 points
- Death: 1 point
- Gold: 0.0002 points per in-game gold
Rosters are locked before the first match of the week and do not unlock again until the end of the week. Player prices will be updated on Monday mornings based on their performances in the SMITE Pro League Summer Split as well as their popularity in the ESL Fantasy league.
Private leagues
You can also make a private league if you want to test your SMITE team managing skills against a select few. Private ESL Fantasy SMITE leagues use the draft system and are limited to ten participants, with managers having to select five active players and two benched ones.
All rosters are locked on the Thursday before the first match of the week, with them being unlocked again on Monday. Fantasy points are earned based on the performance of the players in your active lineup - benched players do not earn points.
Prizes
If you take part in the main fantasy league for the SMITE Pro League Fall Split, you could end up winning some nifty prizes including gems (SMITE’s in-game currency) and even an Xbox One!
The prizes up for grabs by the top ESL Fantasy SMITE managers are as follows:
- First place: Xbox One and 5,000 gems
- Second place: 3,000 gems
- Third place: 1,500 gems
- Fourth place: 1,000 gems
- Fifth place: 500 gems
In the case of a tie, the team that is worth the most at the end of the season is ranked higher, with a coin toss to decide if the teams are still tied following the season’s conclusion.
