The ESL Arena is returning to gamescom this year with more esports than ever before. Along with many other great games, ESL is thrilled to be able to present the Guild Wars 2 World Tournament Series powered by Alienware, which features a grand prize pool of US$50,000. The pinnacle of Guild Wars 2 PvP competitions will conclude at gamescom on Saturday the 8th of August - learn all about it right here!
The Guild Wars 2 World Tournament Series
After long and grueling qualifiers, four of the world's best Guild Wars 2 Arena teams from Europe, North America and China managed to punch their tickets for the World Tournament Series finals in Cologne.
The qualifying teams are as follows:
- Orange Logo (Europe)
- The Civilized Gentlemen (Europe)
- Abjured (North America)
- GLHF (China)
Starting at 10:00 CEST on Saturday the 8th of August, the five-man PvP teams will get the chance to compete for a whopping US$50,000! You can check out the prize pool distribution below

| Third place | US$7,500 |
| Fourth place | US$2,500 |
The entire event will also be broadcast live on the official Guild Wars 2 Twitch channel so that fans who aren’t at gamescom in person can enjoy the tournament from home.
