ESL is proud to be searching for the best Killzone Shadow Fall team at gamescom in cooperation with Sony and Guerrilla Games, where teams will get the chance to sign up and fight for a €5,000 prize pool on Saturday the 16th of August at the ESL Arena.

Open to everyone, we will not only get to see experienced players fight but also have the chance of finding new rising stars who could very well take the stage by storm. If you’re around on Saturday at gamescom but not having a Killzone Shadow Fall team yet, you can sign up to the tournament nonetheless. We will create teams with all solo players of smaller groups throughout the week to give everyone interested a chance to take part in the tournament.

Sign-up Option 1: All week from Wednesday the 13th to Saturday the 16th of August at 10:00 CEST you’ll be able to register your team for Saturday’s tournament at the ESL Shop in Hall 9, which kicks off at 10:00 CEST.

Sign-up Option 2: You can also sign up by writing an e-mail to killzone(at)esl.eu including full name as well as date of birth and an optional copy of your photo ID of all players of your team.

However, please bear in mind that all participants at the gamescom tournament have to have a ticket for the sold out Saturday, a PlayStation account with valid PS plus subscription and be at least 18 years old (so make sure you bring photo ID with you). On Saturday at 10:00 CEST the participants and admins will meet in Hall 9 to validate their participation. While you will have breaks throughout the day to check out the rest of the fairgrounds, you need to make sure you’re back in time to play your matches!

Prize money distribution:

• 1st: €2,500
• 2nd: €1,500
• 3rd: €1,000
