Finally, after three days of incredibly hard-fought competition, we have our Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2015 champions. With the lion’s share of the event’s US$50,000 prize pool now in their grasp as well as the trophy and the prestige that comes with lifting it, there’s nothing left to do but see how our winners emerged victorious.
The Intel Extreme Masters Cologne grand final saw the Qiao Gu Reapers go up against Ever in an intense best-of-five series. Although the Reapers took game one in convincing fashion, Ever made a comeback in game two, keeping the momentum going in game three to take the lead. Not ready to bow out just yet, the Qiao Gu Reapers took game four after some epic teamfights. However, in the end it was Ever who managed to seize the all-important game five victory, thus crowning them the 2015 Intel Extreme Masters Cologne champions!

With Ever’s victory at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne, that’s the final Intel Extreme Masters event of 2015 over. A massive thank you to all the teams who came to Cologne to compete as well as everyone who tuned in to watch the event! Next up is the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship in Katowice, a spectacular event featuring both League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global competitions that will take place at the Spodek arena from the 4th to the 6th of March 2016 - see you there!
