The second day of Intel Extreme Masters Cologne is now over, and with it so are the semifinals. Six teams became four on Saturday and yesterday that number fell to two, with the Intel Extreme Masters title and trophy now only a few precious matches away. However, it wasn’t an easy fight.
The first match of the day saw the new Fnatic lineup face off against the Qiao Gu Reapers. After an abundance of aces, the Reapers surrendered the first game to their opponents. However, the second game saw them make a comeback and, with the third going well in their favor, Fnatic was forced to make a surrender of their own. Next up was Ever versus H2k, with the former taking the first matchup with flying colors. H2k pushed back in game two, forcing the series to a third game, but after an intense fight it was Ever who eventually emerged victorious.
