We’re entering the final few weeks of the regular season in Stage 2 of the Call of Duty World League Pro Division, presented by PlayStation 4, and no team can be counted out. While the North American frontrunners have been battling for the top few spots, Luminosity have been climbing in the standings. After an amazing Week 9 performance they claimed the sixth place position, moving up four spot in just two weeks.
DAY 1
Luminosity have gone 6-1 in their last seven matches in the Call of Duty World League Pro Division. They started off Week 9 with back to back matches, one against Rise Nation and another against Team EnVyUs. They took down Rise with a 3-1 win, only taking a loss in Game 1 Hardpoint. In their second match, they ran through EnVyUs with a dominating 3-0 win. If this kind of performance continues, Luminosity looks poised to reach the higher standings in Stage 2.
EnVyUs played another match on Day 1, this time going up against Cloud9. The series started off with a 2-0 lead for Cloud 9, but EnVyUs finally picked themselves up to win the series 3-2 with a reverse sweep.
Cloud9 went up against H2K in their doubleheader on Day 1. This time, H2K took a 2-0 series lead, but Cloud9, after just getting reverse swept, were able to do the same to H2K, winning the series 3-2.
The final match of Day 1 was H2K vs. Team SoloMid. In Game 1 Hardpoint, H2K’s Legal broke the record for the most kills in a Hardpoint match: 62. H2K won this series 3-0.

DAY 2
Day 2 was full of clean sweeps. The first match of the night was eLevate vs. TSM, and TSM’s struggles continued. eLevate won this series 3-0, marking their first ever 3-0 win in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

In another doubleheader, FaZe Clan played the finals two matches of Day 2, winning both 3-0. The first match was against 100 Thieves, and FaZe were able to quickly run through this series. The second match win was more surprising, as FaZe went up against Rise Nation who have been struggling a bit recently. Although Game 1 and 2 went to FaZe quite easily, Game 3 Uplink was incredible to watch. The match was heading into the final 40 seconds tied up 8-8. FaZe’s Clayster ran through and got a one point shot to put them up 9-8. However, with little over 10 seconds left, Rise ran back and scored a one point shot to force an overtime. Overtime was a different story as FaZe scored in the first 28 seconds to secure the 3-0 win.
