In Week 8 of the Call of Duty World League Pro Division, presented by PlayStation, OpTic Gaming pulled ahead, making themselves the first team to hit double digits in the Stage 2 standings.
DAY 1
The first match of Week 8 was H2K vs. eLevate and H2K’s downfall continued. Although they took Game 1 Hardpoint, eLevate fired back and won the next three games to win the series.
Next up, Cloud9 took on 100 Thieves. The Cloud9 roster, lead by Assault and Havok, has been on an incredible run these last few weeks in Stage 2 and they continued their success, winning the series 3-1.

100 Thieves played another match on Day 1, this time versus Luminosity. In Game 3 Uplink, 100T went into the second half with a 12-6 lead, but Luminosity outplayed them and won the match 20-12. CTF Game 4 was not much better for 100T, as LG won 6-0, which secured them the 3-1 series win.
The fourth matchup on Day 1 was compLexity vs. FaZe Clan. The only map compLexity was able to take off of FaZe was S&D. FaZe were able to easily take all of the respawn modes, leading to a 3-1 series win..
In the final match of Day 1 we saw Team EnVyUs go up against Team SoloMid. This matchup was a quick one, as TSM continued to struggle. EnVyUs closed out the series with a dominating 3-0.
DAY 2
Day 2 of Week 8 started off with eLevate against compLexity. compLexity ended this week 0-2, after eLevate took the series 3-1 and continued to slowly climb back up in the standings.

Many expected the Dream Team vs. FaZe Clan matchup to be an easy series for FaZe, but Hardpoint and Search and Destroy quickly went to DT. FaZe came back in Uplink with a 10-3 win, but in Game 4 Capture The Flag things got interesting. Neither team could score in overtime in the first CTF and the map was replayed. After that, the replay went to another OT, but DT was able to close it out and win the series 3-1.
