In the next two days we will know who will be going to the Gears of War Pro League Season 2 finals! Things are heating up as the teams continue to fight for a spot in the Season 2 conclusion at PAX East. Here's a look at what happened during weeks five and six as we head into the last online rounds.
WEEK 5
Returning champions Denial are fighting EnVyUs for the top spot after the boys in blue dominated their day ten game with a three-map sweep in week five, reaping the benefits of moving to a team house in North Carolina for Season 2. It was also a good week for Justus as they gained their first win of the season against OrbitGG in a five-map game, closing out the series with a 4-2 win on Fuel Depot.

WEEK 6
Notorious (formerly Strictly Business) took the first series against DreamTeam 3-0 on day 12, helping to solidify a place in the Season 2 finals. In a scary series for Denial, Justus won the first two maps, threatening to move Denial further away from their near-undefeated status in Season 1, but Denial took the series in a reverse sweep, ending with a final score of 3-2.

WEEK 7
Thursday, March 24th, is the last broadcast of matches before the Season 2 finals in Boston at PAX East in the ESL Arena, and the fight for the top four spots continues! Notorious will be going up against the leading teams and E6 will be battling DreamTeam in what could be a tiebreaker match for the fourth spot in the finals. Anything can happen, so tune into this Thursday's broadcast on Twitch starting at 17:00 PST/20:00 EST to see all of the deciding matches on day 14!
