Four days of WCS Season 3 group action kicked off with the Group E this evening, seeing French Protoss Lilbow, Chinese Terran Shana, German Protoss GunGFuBanDa and American Protoss Neeb meet at the ESL studios in Cologne to fight it out for a slot in the Season 3 finals in Kraków, Poland from September the 8th to the 13th.
In the Protoss-dominated Group E, Lilbow stood out as the clear favorite thanks to his strong performances in the WCS in 2015. However, even though the season two runner-up managed to punch his ticket to the round of 16, it was not an easy route for him as GunGFuBanDa showed up in marvelous form and actually pushed the Frenchman down to the final elimination game against Neeb.
