Tonight the next qualifiers for the US$250,000 EMS One Katowice will start. In Germany and the United Kingdom, the first qualifiers are a big chance for the two struggling nations to live up to their successful past reputations in both CS 1.6 and CS:S. At DHW 2013, no teams from these regions reached the group stage. Will this change at EMS One Katowice?
Germany: Can the new mouz dominate?
Just one night before the qualifier, ESL Pro Series champion mousesports announced their new team. Now they have their first real test - facing some of the best teams in Germany, such as their rivals Team Alternate, EnRo Griffins, Playing Ducks e.V. and few other interesting teams with well-known German players. Considering they suffered a 17-19 defeat to Xapso in the last round of the BYOC qualifier for DHW, this tournament means a lot to the prestigious German organisation. Will their new team make them proud?

UK: fm!Toxic to live up to the expectations?
CS:GO has not been a very successful story for the teams from the United Kingdom so far. Taking the latest results into account, fm!Toxic should be the favorite here. However, with the recent lineup changes in the UK scene, both TLM and Rasta.Xd have called on some CGS veterans who might be able to help them turn this around. Can HenryG, wilzooo and RattlesnK bring back the glory of days gone by?
