The second day of ESL One Genting saw the remaining matches of the group stage, determining the last two teams for the semi finals. With some big names still in need to step up there was quite a lot action going down in the Arena of Stars, making the audience cheer.
Group A
With Newbee through in first place, it was Fnatic taking on Team NP in the elimination match. Here Team NP took the upper hand and won 2-0. However, in the decider match against Virtus.pro NP saw the Russians securing their spot in the semi finals by 2-0.

Group B
After the close call between Digital Chaos and Wings Gaming for the semi finals on day one, the elimination match of Execration and WG Unity did follow this trend with a 2-1 victory for the Filipino team. The decider match was less of a close call with Wings Gaming following Digital Chaos in the semis after a clear 2-0.

The semi finals tomorrow
Starting at 10:00 MYT once more, the final day of ESL One Genting will see two big semi finals followed by the match for the title and the lion’s share of the US$250,000 prize pool. Make sure to tune in, in case you don’t join the crowd in the Arena of Stars!
