Be part of the first offline Infinite Crisis event at the ESL studios

Warner Bros. Interactive and DC Comics’ MOBA Infinite Crisis will be in the spotlight on the 20th of September as the Season 1 Finals  of our Go4InfiniteCrisis (Go4IC) cup series come to the ESL studios. This marks the first time that Batman, Superman and other superheroes - and villains - visit our Cologne HQ.

The teams who qualified for the event had a long and arduous journey to the finals, with only the four best competitors from Go4IC Season 1, which ran for the last four months, securing a spot. Natus Vincere, Team Dignitas, n!faculty and H2k Gaming were the teams who had the best placements after a total of 16 Go4 cups, meaning they will clash in the arena once more to compete for €10,000 and the chance to call themselves the best European Infinite Crisis team.

This is also your chance to get up close and personal with the cream of the Infinite Crisis crop! Grab your show ticket now and you’ll not only get to see all three matches live from the front row but also meet the players, hang out with them and maybe even to learn a trick or two and have free drinks and snacks available all through the day. The show kicks off on Saturday the 20th of September at 14:00 CEST with both semifinals before the Season 1 Grand Final.

Florian “bLackhawk” Schiekel, ESL Community Manager, said of the event:

“I'm really looking forward to our first offline Infinite Crisis event, not only so I can meet all the players but also the community (and to enjoy some awesome superhero action in the matches, of course). In terms of predicting a winner, I would lean towards Dignitas or Na'Vi as they’ve already played on a stage at DreamHack and so have more experience with offline events than the other two teams. However, all the teams have had time to prepare some special strategies for the event, so we might see an upset in the semifinals yet!”

If you can’t join us on the spot in Cologne, make sure to tune in to the season one finals on our Twitch.tv stream live from the ESL studios.
