With the last two rounds of the lower bracket finishing last night, we finally know all 16 teams who will gather at EMS One Katowice to compete for the lion's share of the US$250,000 prize pool. Let's see which teams will be part of the thrilling tournament starting in less than two weeks!

3DMAX and mousesports made it

After a very long and stunning evening, 3DMAX and mousesports emerged victorious, taking the final two tickets to EMS One Katowice. In some pretty epic matches, 3DMAX took out both H2k and ALTERNATE 2-1 by playing a total of four overtimes in these two matches, a lot of team spirit giving them the upper hand needed to qualify for Katowice. mousesports, on the other hand, won 2-0 twice, but it was way closer than it sounds. Against Wizards in their first match, it was two times 16-14 that opened the way to the deciding match. Against TBA, one of the most surprising teams in the whole qualification, it was much clearer. 16-10 and 16-05 made the German champion qualify.

Less than two weeks left to get in shape

Now Fnatic and their 15 contenders have precious little time to prepare for the big tournament of EMS One Katowice. With US$250,000 on the line, all teams will want to play as well as possible in order to get the best spots. When looking back at DreamHack 2013, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Titan were the big favorites, but none of them won, with Fnatic picking up the biggest single prize pool of the year. This time we might see the two big favorites try even harder or another team push their limits and take home the title in Poland.
