Team PZ have plowed their way through Season 2 of the ESL Guild Wars 2 Pro League with an undefeated record. Showing unrivaled teamwork, they were able to beat North American frontrunners Astral Authority and claim the #1 NA seed.

Bao “Zoose” Nguyen gave us his thoughts on the upcoming Season 2 Finals, as well as insight on how the team plans to prepare while in Los Angeles.

ESL: You’ve been undefeated for the entirety of the season, but have yet to face any of the European competitors. Are you feeling prepared to go against them? 
Zoose: We have scrimmed Europeans and played against them in the MSI tournament. We will prepare as much as possible and learn from our mistakes in the Season 1 Finals where we were very unprepared with little practice. This season we have been practicing much more consistently, so we'll be more ready.

ESL: How do you feel your team has grown or developed from last season finals to now?
Zoose: We've learned a lot about bettering ourselves through communication, teamwork, strategy, and our mechanics. We've also gotten to the point where most of our team can play two or more classes on a pro level, so it helps our dynamic play.

ESL: How is your team preparing for finals? Any special strategies or changes to your training?
Zoose: We're going to have team spa sessions and go to the beach in California to prepare. PZ!
