With Season 1's League Finals of WCS Europe being only a few days away, we'd like to share details on how to qualify for the upcoming second season. Four cups will determine 16 new players for the Challenger League, although three of four cups are restricted to players from the EMEA region.
From the 21st to the 23rd of April, three online qualifiers will be held at esl.eu/eu/sc2. Every day, the top four will qualify for the Challenger League of 2014 WCS Europe Season 2, which is the first step into the WCS Europe Premier League and guarantees a minimum prize payout of US$600. All matches will be played in best of three format using a single elimination bracket.
These first three cups are open for everyone from the European region, Middle East and Africa, although your Battle.net account has to be at least at the level of Master League. It's also mandatory to have your StarCraft II character code and your StarCraft II web ID entered in your ESL profile - see esl.eu/eu/sc2/gameaccounts for detailed instructions.

One additional qualifier in which everyone regardless of location is allowed to participate will also be held. The cup will use the same mode as the previous three, and the top four will directly qualify as well. However, this cup will only going to be considered for possible successors if one of the other 16 players is unable to fill his slot.
As previously mentioned, your Battle.net account has to be at least at the level of Master League for the current or recent season and needs 200 or more listed wins.
- April 24th, 17:00 CEST: Wildcard Qualifier (Sign up now)
Check in starts - and signup closes - at 16:00 CET, one hour before the official start of the cup. As soon as we have a full bracket, the qualifier will start.
