Starting April 29th at 6:00 pm EDT is the second season of the WCS America Challenger! On four separate play days 32 total players will battle it out in a single best of 5 series to secure their spot in the upcoming Premier League. The loser of the match is eliminated and has to re-qualify next season. Read more for the details.
Season 2 of matches kick off with a bang with the return of a WCS America powerhouse player Violet against the resilient Canadian protoss: desRow. Last year Violet was missing in action due to the publicized visa issue. He returned in January of 2014, but failed to qualify for Season 1 of WCS America Challenger. He then dominated the Season 2 qualifiers, and now must square off against the man who eliminated Apocalypse from the Season 1 Challenger matches. Experience and accomplishments alone give Violet the major advantage here, but desRow having a taste of Premier League glory, he will not give it up so easily.
From Day 1 all the way to Day 4 we are set to see some amazing series involving some of the top players of the America region. Plenty of familiar faces including the top foreign competitor Scarlett, the tyrant Jaedong, and the veteran SeleCT will battle against the new comers and underdogs including Kane, Guitarcheese, and many more!
