Two more champions crowned on Day 4 of the Call of Duty World League Stage 2 Finals!

After four days of Call of Duty World League Stage 2 Finals action, ANZ, EU, and NA have all found their champions. On Day 3, Mindfreak came out on top as the ANZ winners, and on Day 4, two more regional champions were crowned, with Millenium dominating the European bracket, and Team EnVyUs winning the North American Stage 2 Finals.

EUROPE

The first match on Sunday was the European grand finals: Team Infused vs. Millenium.

Millenium went all out to open up the series, taking Hardpoint Game 1 250-74. Their intensity fell, however, in Game 2 as Infused were able to secure Uplink and tie the score. The series continued to go back and forth and ended in Game 6 Uplink. Millenium were able to hold on with big defensive plays to win Game 6 and the series.

Millenium defended their title from Stage 1 and are the European Call of Duty World League Stage 2 Champions!

NORTH AMERICA

SEMIFINALS #1: Team EnVyUs vs. Rise Nation

The first semifinals saw #1 Team EnVyUs going up against #4 Rise Nation. nV took Game 1 Hardpoint in a commanding fashion and pulled out a 2-0 series lead after big plays from Slasher and Jkap in Uplink overtime.

Rise fought back to take S&D 6-4 after missed opportunities from nV players, but CTF was heartbreaking for Rise, as a slipup from Slacked lead to a game winning score for nV.

EnVyUs secured the series win 4-1 in Game 5 Hardpoint and advanced to the grand finals!

SEMIFINALS #2: Dream Team vs. Luminosity

These two teams caused major upsets in the quarterfinals: Dream Team took out FaZe, and Luminosity eliminated Stage 1 champions OpTic Gaming. Going into this match, DT looked on point to start. They dominated in Hardpoint Game 1, winning 250-120! Then, big defensive plays from Killa lead DT to a 3-1 Uplink win.

LG were able to finally bounce back in the series, winning Game 3 S&D 6-3. The match continued into Game 4 CTF, where a huge play from Sender led to a 3-2 win for DT.

Down 1-3 in the series, LG fought all the way back to tie the match 3-3 and force a Game 7. DT, with a smart play from Killa, were able to win Game 7 and the series 4-3, advancing to the grand finals.

NA GRAND FINALS: Team EnVyUs vs. Dream Team

The grand finals of the North American Stage 2 Finals saw #1 Team EnVyUs go up against Dream Team! nV kept their strong performance going, easily closing out Hardpoint Game 1 with a score of 250-116. DT just could not keep up with the slaying from nV players. DT’s Uplink game was incredible over the weekend, and in the grand finals they were able to tie the series 1-1 with a 7-6 win in Game 2. Game 3 S&D was a clean 6-0 win for nV, followed by an incredible 8-1 CTF win. The grand finals ended in Game 5 HP, as nV secured the win and won the series 4-1. Congratulations to Team EnVyUs on winning the North America Stage 2 Finals!
