The Premier League groups for the second season of the StarCraft II World Championship Series (WCS) were drawn yesterday, and soon some of the world’s best players will be facing off in order to find out who’ll be taking one step closer to the grand finals.

WCS America
Starting on May the 16th, groups A, B, C and D will be facing off at ESL’s American studios in Burbank, California, which will now be starting at 12:00 PST instead of 15:00 PST in order to better accommodate international viewership. With such big names as Bunny, ForGG, Violet and Harstem in the runnings, there are sure to be some exciting matches.
The WCS America group stage schedule is as follows:
- Group A: May 16th, 12:00 PST
- Group B: May 17th, 12:00 PST
- Group C: May 23rd, 12:00 PST
- Group D: May 24th, 12:00 PST

WCS Europe
From May the 28th, the ESL studios in Cologne, Germany, will see groups E to H battle it out for supremacy. Hydra, Snute, Polt, Firecake, Jaedong and more will all be fighting for the top spot, but who will make it through?

- Group E: May 28th, 18:00 CEST
- Group F: May 29th, 18:00 CEST
- Group G: May 30th, 18:00 CEST
- Group H: May 31st, 18:00 CEST

David Kugelmann, product manager of WCS, said of the upcoming group stage matches:
“The second season of the year is off to a promising start with another eight fantastic groups featuring established superstars as well as up and coming new players who will do whatever it takes to establish their names in the Premier League. If Season 1 was good, Season 2 is going to be great!”
