Last weekend, the best four Go4InfiniteCrisis teams in Europe clashed at ESL HQ in Cologne. After having competed for this chance for over four months, Team Dignitas was able to overcome their contenders and take the title, trophy and also the lion’s share of the €10,000 prize pool. To celebrate – and give you some impressions of the event – we’ve collected the best nine photos taken during another great day at the ESL dtudios.
The object of all desires
During the day, it wasn’t just their monitors the teams had their eyes on. Only meters away sat the trophy reserved for the champion of Go4InfiniteCrisis Season 1, a well-earned reward for over four months of training, fighting and working towards this one moment.
Let’s get down to business
Our very own Paul “ReDeYe” Chaloner was joined by Mason Grove and product manager Spike Laurie for the kickoff of the finals event.
Team Dignitas cheering
Working hard paid off for Team Dignitas, Season 1 Go4IC champion.
The Justice League of Europe?
Everyone involved gave it everything they had to make this show an outstanding experience for everyone.
H2k enjoying the day
Despite not being one of the big favorites, H2k still enjoyed playing the game.
Jason Kaplan is ready
ESL’s very own Jason Kaplan was of course also part of this premier.
Always going for the top
Natus Vincere really lived up to the expectations conjured by their name, with their loss to Team Dignitas not erasing the memory of all of the cups they won on the way to this event.
Good times for n!faculty
Even though they didn’t have a run like they did at last year’s gamescom, n!faculty can be proud of themselves for competing at the top with Europe’s best teams.
The moment of glory
It all came down to this one moment where Team Dignitas received their well-earned trophy. Congratulations once again!
