The North American Rainbow Six Pro League competition on Xbox One remains deadlocked while Orgless and Flipsid3 pull away on PC

In contrast from last week of the North American Rainbow Six Pro League, we saw much closer matches and three games that made it to overtime. Strictly Business picked up some wins to keep their post-season hopes alive, while 3sUP managed to keep their heads above water. Continuum, previously known as Biggity Boo Bop, lost out on much-needed points thanks to an incredible overtime victory from Lunatik and Orgless cemented their first place spot in the PC Pro League with a flawless victory over Ferocity Esports.

Two very common maps kicked off the Xbox One match between Strictly Business and Lethal Gaming. Both teams struggled to find footing early in the game on Oregon. After things were tied up 2-2, took three straight rounds to close out the first map. Both teams were performing well on Clubhouse, but Strictly Business pulled out the win 6-4 in overtime despite being down a man in the final round.

The second match on Monday night featured 3sUP Enterprises and Noble Esports. Noble attempted to throw a curveball and pick Bank, a map that has been seen only a couple of times all season. It almost worked. Noble jumped out to an early lead, but 3sUP brought it back to force overtime and eventually win the game 6-4. Noble’s failed tactic seemed to demoralize the team and they went on to lose 3sUP’s map pick, Chalet, 5-0.

Offstream, Onslaught Clan took down ex-Denial Esports 2-0.

Check out where we stand after five weeks of of Xbox One action in the North American Rainbow Six Pro League:

PC

Continuum were poised to continue their dominance from last week as they started off strong against Lunatik on Border with a 5-1 victory. Lunatik looked out of practice on Border, which is understandable, but turned it around on Oregon. Possibly the most popular map in Pro League this season, Oregon has lent itself to many close games and this was no exception. In a crazy down to the wire game that lasted until the last seconds of round eleven, Lunatik pulled out the win. Because of this loss, Continuum need to greatly improve the rest of the season for a shot at playoffs.

The most dominant team in Rainbow Six Pro League history continued their reign of terror this week against Ferocity Esports. Much like Noble tried earlier in the week, Ferocity picked Favela in an attempt to catch Orgless off guard and failed as Orgless managed to pull through in time to take the map 5-3. After that it was a trip to Kanal and a clinical 5-0 dismantling of Ferocity by the powerhouse squad of Orgless.

Offstream, Flipsid3 Tactics took down addiction 2-0.
