After a series of exciting group matches, the time came to determine who would claim the Shenzhen trophy as Intel Extreme Masters moved onto the StarCraft II playoffs. Eight players fought their way into the quarterfinals to battle it out for the Intel Extreme Masters Shenzhen champion title and their share of the US$25,000 prize pool.
The competition was fierce and we saw tons of top-notch StarCraft II action delivered by some of the world’s best players. Nevertheless, there can only be one winner, and that winner turned out to be Classic after an outstanding performance throughout the tournament after defeating big favorites such as herO and PartinG along the way.
