Intel Extreme Masters San Jose took place last weekend at the SAP Center, where thousands of fans gathered to watch top CS:GO teams compete for the trophy and a share of the US$100,000 prize pool. On Saturday we saw the quarterfinals being played out, with Team SoloMid, G2 Esports, Natus Vincere and Team Liquid emerging victorious.
The battle came down to three European and one North American team, and we saw three thrilling matchups filled with great plays. Although the crowd’s heart was with hometown favorites Team Liquid, it was Natus Vincere who proved to be the best team at the tournament and took home the trophy as well as the Intel Extreme Masters San Jose championship title.
