After Saturday’s quick and efficient quarterfinals, Sunday saw the second and final day of Intel Extreme Masters San Jose 2015 - and the crowning of the event’s League of Legends champions. With the lion’s share of a US$50,000 prize pool to fight for as well as the Intel Extreme Masters trophy and title, competition was bound to be fierce, but in the end there could only be one winning team.
The semifinals saw Origen and Counter Logic Gaming thoroughly conquer their matchups against Team SoloMid and Jin Air Green Wings respectively, with both teams advancing 2-0 to the grand final. However, in the all-important final showdown it was Origen who emerged victorious, securing a 3-0 score and with it all the first place spoils - congratulations, guys!
