This evening, Paul 'ReDeYe' Chaloner and Jason Kaplan drew the groups of EMS One Katowice. While all teams know who they will be playing on their way towards the lion share of the US$250,000 prize pool, we now know the matches that will take our breath on the first day of EMS One Katowice in just one week!

Looking at the groups we see some very interesting match ups coming up. Only one group has two teams who already met during the group stage of DreamHack Winter. Group B sees NiP facing LDLC (known as Recursetive at this point) and the Australian Vox Eminor playing 3DMAX, making this group contain a very interesting mix of playstyles. Group A has three very experienced teams with Titan, ex-ASD and Virtus.pro, mousesports is still pretty new and the players do not look back on years of stage matches.

DHW champion Fnatic will meet the rising Danes of Dignitas and Reason as well as the US champion iBP who recently won the ESEA finals over Titan. This could be a tough group for Fnatic but also a chance to underline their ambitions. Group D sees the team of compLexity, that only placed 3rd at ESEA behind Titan and iBP, facing LGB, Na'Vi and Clan-Mystik who also long for a chance shine after some shaky results, finding back to a glorious past or bigger break ups.
