After the thrilling quarterfinals, the time came to determine who would claim victory in the Valve major and lift the ESL One trophy. Four of the world’s very best CS:GO teams - Virtus.pro, Team SoloMid, Team EnVyUs and Fnatic - clashed at the LANXESS Arena in front of thousands of passionate fans to battle it out for the championship title and their share of the whopping US$250,000 prize pool.
All of the teams brought outstanding performances, giving the roaring crowd tons of reasons to cheer. However, there could only be one ESL One Cologne 2015 champion, and in the end that turned out to be none other than Fnatic, the Swedish team having made history big time by earning their third major and first back-to-back major win.
