The first North American live stream of the Mortal Kombat X Pro League Season 3 will kick off this evening, Wednesday April 6 at 5:00PM PDT! Eight players will battle for a share of the weekly $1,000 prize pool and push one step closer to the $200,000 purse at the Season 3 Finals.
Scar, one of the very few players who has ever beat two-time world champion SonicFox in the Pro Leagues, will go up against up-and-coming Jago Blake of Yomi Gaming in what is sure to be an epic showdown during the quarterfinals. The action will begin on the NetherRealm Twitch channel with these four matchups and will continue until the Week 1 Finalist is named.
Returning champion SonicFox and his current rival Scar went all the way to the Finals on the first day of the Challenger Cup, with Scar coming out on top, but because SonicFox and Scar have qualified for the Pro League, they will no longer be eligible to participate in this weekend’s Challenger Cup. Be sure to follow all of the MKX action and tune into the first Challenger Cup Finals on Saturday, April 30.
