The tournament
The Halo Championship Series open bracket kicks off every Saturday at 11:00 PST, and is played in a single elimination best of three format. Signing up is free, and teams who win in the round of 16 then proceed to Sunday’s legendary bracket, where they will compete with the top 8 teams from the HCS standings for US$1,000. Open and legendary bracket participants can also collect HCS points to go towards qualifying for the season finals.
The season finals are set to take place from the 24th to the 26th of July 2015 at ESL’s American studios in Burbank, California. With US$150,000 to be fought over by the season’s top eight teams, there’s a lot to play for!
