Scuf Gaming to bring more Halo action to Europe and North America

Scuf Gaming and ESL previously joined forces to bring more action to the ESL console section. Now, right after the first Scuf Gaming Super Sunday, we are proud to present two more tournaments sponsored by Scuf Gaming for all North American and European Halo fans!

Europe: the Scuf Gaming Major League is waiting for you!

After a successful first season which ran from February until the end of March, ESL’s Scuf Gaming Halo Major League is returning for its second season! The qualifiers for the new season are kicking off this Sunday with slight system changes as well as €1,000 to be won in the playoffs. Starting at 20:00 CEST on the next four Sundays, now’s your chance to see if you have what it takes to win one of the qualifiers. The qualifiers are open to every Europe-based team and free to join!

Seize your spot in the Scuf Gaming Halo Major League Europe by taking part in one of the following qualifiers:

Brian “qntm” Krämer, community manager at ESL, said of the new season:

“Season 1 has clearly shown that there still is an active and absolutely passionate European Halo scene, which resulted in some good fights for the trophy between such well-known teams as TCM Gaming and Epsilon eSports. Working with Scuf Gaming gives us a great chance to provide all of these players with a platform that continuously has interesting competitions to play in, which is why we are so delighted to finally announce the beginning of Season 2 with its first qualifier this weekend. Best of luck to the attending teams!”

North America: the Scuf Gaming Go4Halo series kicks off this Thursday!

Starting this Thursday and continuing every week into the foreseeable future, Scuf Gaming is also giving all North American Halo players a chance to rise and shine as the Scuf Gaming Go4Halo series offers up US$200 for each week’s winning team. The cups will take place every week for the rest of the year and provide up and coming Halo teams a place to win money and measure their skills. The tournaments feature a best of three system and random seedings for the weekly cup, making them an ideal entry spot into the world of competitive Halo.

Timo Karamustafa, senior product manager at ESL, said of the cup series:

“We are very excited to add the Scuf Gaming Go4Halo series to our portfolio of North American Halo cups as well as being able to offer players and teams another great opportunity to compete and earn cash prizes. The Halo community is clearly very much alive and always looking for opportunities to prove their skills. Well, here you go - now you also have a chance to do so during the week. Have fun and good luck to everyone!”
