With the Regional Qualifiers in Germany and the CIS finished, we have found half of the teams taking part in the European Qualifier Finals. The last eight spots are to be earned in the two European Qualifiers this week, with the first cup starting on Tuesday. Germany: mousesports to represent Germany
The reigning German champion, mousesports, did not let their chance slip away and took the spot for the EU Qualifier Finals by storm. Winning 2:0 against Wild Fire and Death.Energy brought them to the Grand Final against Team ALTERNATE. Here chrisJ and his friends lost the one and only map in the qualifiers, but still took the match home by 2:1. Now Alternate and the other teams will have to try their best in the open EU Qualifiers.

CIS: Na'Vi and USSR join the final 16
The two big favorites in the CIS made it. The former IEM World Champion Na'Vi lost only 14 rounds on four maps against 42N and Faith. Team USSR had a bit more work to do against TEAMSWAGYOLO and especially against ACES, where the team of mouseTT had to go all the way through the overtime to take the first map home. It will be interesting to see how both teams will perform facing the other teams in the EU Qualifier Finals.

EMS One Katowice: The next steps
On the 22nd and 23rd of February, the second EU Qualifier will be held. Here the last four teams for the European Qualifier Finals will be found, these kicking off just two days later on the 25th of February. Stay tuned for updates on the cups and even more coverage!
