Semifinal Match #2
Our second semifinal match was OpTic Gaming vs. Team eLevate. OpTic looked like a very different team compared to Saturday, and came out firing on all cylinders. The strength of OpTic was demonstrated with the slaying from all four players in Game 1 Hardpoint. In addition, they had a blowout on Uplink with a 11-1 win and were able to close out the series 4-0 with 3-1 CTF win.

GRAND FINALS
In the Stage 1 Grand Finals, Rise Nation went up against OpTic Gaming. Both teams had a lot of momentum going into the finals coming off of their 4-0 semifinal wins. OpTic held the higher ground in the first Hardpoint, as they won it 250-201. In Game 2 Search and Destroy, OpTic followed up with a commanding 6-2 win. Uplink was not any better for Rise, as OpTic took that 14-2. But we finally saw signs of life from Rise as they won Capture the Flag 2-1 and Search and Destroy 6-3. Rise Nation then made the resounding comeback to tie the series up at 3-3. It was all down to a Game 7 Search and Destroy, which ended up going all the way to Round 11! With ten seconds remaining, OpTic Gaming took it and were crowned Stage 1 Champions!
