It was a scary week of matches for teams looking to stay on top of the North American Rainbow Six Pro League. Close games from start to finish led to many stragglers in the standings headed into the final week of play. Teams on Xbox One still control their own destiny while North American PC players will need to hope the top teams stumble for a shot at LAN.

Week 6 of the North American Xbox One division started on Oregon with 3sUP Enterprises taking on Soar Gaming. 3sUP took home the first victory after Soar tried some very questionable defenses that weren’t normal -- for good reason. The unexpected pick of Bank came through and both teams looked fairly sloppy. Soar squeaked out the win in an 11 round slugfest.

Onslaught Clan faced off against Strictly Business in the second match of the night and Onslaught maintained hope for finals with a 2-0 win. It started off looking good with a 5-2 win on Kanal but seemed to go downhill rather quickly on Oregon. Onslaught lost five rounds in a row on route to a 5-0 victory for Strictly Business. Onslaught will hope for other top teams to slip up in Week 7 to get their shot at the LAN finals.
Offstream, Excellence made short work of Noble 2-0 and ex-Denial took down Lethal Gaming 2-0.

Continuum was the only team to secure a 2-0 victory on stream this week by taking out MiLSPEC Esports. Despite a 3-3 tie halfway through Border, Continuum flipped a switch to keep their LAN finals hopes alive. They won the remaining two rounds on Border to take it 5-3 and made no mistakes on Clubhouse with a 5-0 thrashing. Flipsid3 take on Orgless next week and if Flipsid3 don’t win, it opens the door for Continuum to steal the second place spot.

In the biggest upset of the week and perhaps of the season, Miner Esports (previously Addiction) were able to take a map off Orgless. Miner picked Favela, a map that Orgless had looked strong on earlier in the season. Miner were prepared and took the win 5-3 with several clean rounds on both offense and defense. Orgless came back with Chalet and were able to avoid the complete scare by taking out Miner 5-3 after some stellar play of their own.
Offstream, Lunatik and Eanix tied at one a piece and Flipsid3 tied Ferocity as well.
