The twelve teams that will compete in Stage 2 of the North American Call of Duty World League, Presented by PlayStation 4 Pro Division have been determined! There were eight teams battling in the Stage 1 Relegation, with only four spots were left to be filled, here's what happened:
The first relegation match was between Dream Team and C9 Eclipse. C9 Eclipse was on a mission as they took the first Hardpoint and Search and Destroy matches, but the momentum shifted in favor of Dream Team as they came flying back into the series with an incredible win in Uplink and Capture the Flag. In CTF, DT was able to cap a flag in 37 seconds to win in overtime!

The second matchup was between Team Liquid and H2K. Team Liquid started off incredibly strong, taking the first three maps in a dominant fashion and had a 3-0 lead in the series. At this point, many fans thought Liquid will be able to close it out. However, Liquid somehow fell apart at this point, and H2K came firing back and took the next three maps to tie the series up 3-3. In the final Search and Destroy Game 7, H2K pushed for the win and retained their spot in Stage 2 of the Pro Division. While it was a nice victory for H2K, it was a heartbreaking loss for the Team Liquid lineup.

In our third series, we saw Counter Logic Gaming go up against Cloud9 as CLG looked to retain their spot in the World League. But that was not the case as Cloud9 became the first Challenge Division team to qualify for Stage 2. CLG was able to take the first Hardpoint against C9, but the rest of the series was all in C9’s favor, and they won it 4-1.
We ended the relegation with Team Kaliber vs. KingPapey. TK almost had to forfeit this match as Goonjar was unable to make it to the event. But OpTic Gaming’s MBoZe filled in for him. KingPapey showed that they can hang with the pro players as they took Hardpoint and Search and Destroy. But Team Kaliber showed signs of life as they were able to take the next Uplink and Capture the Flag games.
