Yesterday, May 11th, eight of the best teams of the European and North American division gathered in the ESL studios in Leicester, UK, to begin the battle for the ESL Pro League Season 3 championship and a share of the US$750,000 prize pool.
Group A
Group A has been the most surprising one with upsets flying left and right. G2 Esports went undefeated and advanced to the semifinals while the Danish squad of Astralis got eliminated with two losses. The full results are as follows:

Group B
Ninjas in Pyjamas have been the stars of the European division this season and they continued to impress in yesterday’s matches. Team Liquid proved to be a difficult opponent for the Swedes, as they were behind 2-13 in the first half of the match. However, we had the pleasure of witnessing NiP magic, as Ninjas inverted the score and took the game to overtime, winning 22-18 in the end. With a later win over Fnatic, they secured a slot in the semifinals alongside G2.

The battle continues today!
The battle for the semifinals continues today with the group B elimination match and decider matches for both group A and B. Only two more teams will make it to London to fight for the championship - who will it be?
