With last year’s Allstars Cup having proved a great success and the ESL Euro Series grand finals having taken place just this weekend, we’re pleased to announce the next big S.K.L.L. event in the ESL calendar. With €10,000 (and more) of prize money, three qualification tournaments and four wildcards, it’s sure to be one hell of a show.
Watch Europe’s top S.K.I.L.L. teams clash
We already know two attendees: EES Summer 2014 champion Death.Energy and runner-up Senpai, who were directly invited by Gameforge. These two will be joined by the best teams from the playoffs, where they will compete in front of a live audience right here at the ESL studios in Cologne.
The Allstars Cup 2014 will feature the same structure as the ESL Euro Series, with three qualification tournaments wherein the top four will qualify for the group stage. The best two teams from each group will join the playoffs in order to compete for the grand prize in December.
Fans to help bolster the prize pool once more
Much like the last big S.K.I.L.L. event, players will be able to help increase the prize pot by purchasing special in-game items. For the last event, this was the Summer 2014 shirts, but further details on what the items will be this time and more will follow over the next few weeks.
Qualifications schedule
We will have three qualifications, which will be scheduled as follows:
- Qualification #1: Tuesday the 14th of October at 20:00 CEST
- Qualification #2: Tuesday the 21st of October at 20:00 CEST
- Qualification #3: Tuesday the 28th of October at 20:00 CEST
Depending on the amount of signups, we may run the second part of the qualification on the following Wednesday.

Please note that a team which has already qualified can no longer compete in the other ESL qualification tournaments.
