After a three week break, the Halo Championship Series: Pro League returned for the last full week of Fall 2017 Season. Every team fought hard to finish strong in the penultimate week of Pro League, bringing us one step closer to Finals at DreamHack Denver.
DAY 1
The first match of the week brought OpTic Gaming up against Naventic. Naventic won their first game of the day with some of the best Halo we’ve seen from them all season long. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to prevent a 3-1 loss from OpTic.

Match of the Week: Team Liquid v. Luminosity Gaming
The series between Liquid and Luminosity brought former team mates up against each other as foes in an intense grudge match between two very talented teams. Liquid started off very strong on Empire Strongholds, controlling the Pit and the tempo of the game to finish Game 1 with a 100-18 win.
Luminosity fought back on Rig Slayer, working to keep Liquid from running away with the game. Unfortunately for Luminosity, StelluR went on a Killing Spree for Liquid and created the biggest gap at that point in the game. Luminosity managed to stop the bleeding, bringing the score to 48-49 in the final moments of the game. Despite the comeback from Luminosity, Liquid took the final kill to bring the series to 2-0.
CTF on Truth was aggressive and fast-paced as Luminosity sought to stave off defeat. Luminosity held onto a 1-0 lead for the first half of the game and seemed to be keeping Liquid at bay. Liquid responded accordingly with two back to back flag caps to take a 2-1 lead. Luminosity tried to come back and tie the game, but Liquid brought the heat in the final minutes of the game to secure the last flag cap and win the series 3-0.
