Both the Asian and European Challenger teams for ESL One Cologne have already been determined. Now it is time for the final qualifier, during which the two remaining slots will be filled by North American teams. The winners will join some of the world’s best teams in Cologne to battle it out for the next ESL One championship as well as a Valve major victory.
The groups
A total of eight teams will be traveling to the ESL studios in Burbank, California, to fight for the two available slots at ESL One Cologne in a double elimination format. Four of these teams received direct invitations to the qualifier, with the other four having reserved their spots through an open online qualifier.
