On October the 3rd and 4th, the O2 Arena in Prague, Europe, will host the European Road to BlizzCon - a two-day event featuring tournaments that will pave the way to BlizzCon in the US. In addition to World of Warcraft and Hearthstone, players will also get a chance to prove themselves in Heroes of the Storm.

Over 70 teams have already signed up to take their shot at cash and glory. The total prize pool for Heroes of the Storm is US$176,000, US$76,000 of which is for the online qualifiers alone. The top eight teams will qualify for the finals in Prague and get to perform at the amazing O2 Arena in front of thousands of fans.

There will be three open qualifiers, the first of which is happening this weekend, giving all players professional and amateur alike a chance to kick off or advance their competitive career and become a part of the biggest esports event in the Czech Republic. Additionally, the team who emerges victorious in Prague will be guaranteed a spot in the World Championship at BlizzCon at the Anaheim Convention Centre in California, USA, where they will compete among the world’s best teams.
