We’re excited to announce the ESL One Frankfurt 2016 art competition! The competition will give both traditional and digital artists the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and win some incredible prizes including premium ESL One Frankfurt tickets and the chance to see their work displayed prominently at the event as well as on stream. The rules

The rules for the ESL One Frankfurt 2016 art competition as as follows:

• All submissions have to be Dota 2 and ESL One Frankfurt related
• All submissions must be 2D art, either digital or traditional:
  • Traditional art must use a canvas or paper as media, with submissions photographed or scanned then emailed for judging
  • Digital art must be done on a computer without any 3D rendering software, with submissions emailed as a .jpeg or .png for judging (maximum file size 15MB)
• The submission has to be your own work
• The submission has to be an original creation made specifically for this contest
• Submissions can be made on Twitter or Facebook by using the #ESLOneArt hashtag or by emailing them to [email protected]
• One progress photo or video should also be submitted to [email protected] including a link to the social media post as proof of own work
• Judging will be done by a panel of community artists attending the Artists’ Alley
• Copyright for the submission will remain with the author with ESL having the right to use the submission for promotional purposes
• The deadline for submissions is May 15th 2016
• Winners will be announced on May 31st 2016

The prizes

First place in the traditional category

• A premium ticket to ESL One Frankfurt 2016 including travel and hotel expenses
• An exclusive goodie bag
• Prominent placement at the event in the Artists’ Alley, event livestream, social media and the ESL One page
• Paid postage for winning submissions so that the original artwork can be exhibited at ESL One Frankfurt

First place in the digital category

• A premium ticket to ESL One Frankfurt 2016 including travel and hotel expenses
• An exclusive goodie bag
• Prominent placement at the event in the Artists’ Alley, event livestream, social media and the ESL One page
• Winner will submit the highest quality version of their work to be turned into a large print that will be displayed at ESL One Frankfurt

Additional prizes

• Three premium ESL One Frankfurt 2016 tickets
• Five regular ESL One Frankfurt 2016 tickets

The top ten submissions will also become part of the goodie bag and be displayed in the Artists’ Alley.
