In a couple of days, the second season of the S.K.I.L.L. Pro League will be kicking off with a bang. Set to take place from September the 23rd until the October the 28th, ten of Europe’s top S.K.I.L.L. teams will clash for thousands of euros in prize money as well as their chance to make it to the playoffs.
The teams
Following the final qualifier that was run in early September, we now know the full lineup of S.K.I.L.L. Pro League competitors.
Facing off in Season 2 of the S.K.I.L.L. Pro League will be:
- EnRo GRIFFINS
- eSpartans
- IESP
- Invictum
- Pandora Gaming
- PENTA Sports
- Planetkey Dynamics
- IDK
- Team +351
- Epiphany Bolt
The prizes
In addition to an impressive prize pool, placements are also important in the S.K.I.L.L. Pro League as the first two teams after the group stage will advance directly to the semifinals.
The teams’ respective placements will earn them the following honors:
- First place: A spot in the playoffs, including a direct slot in the semifinals
- Second place: A spot in the playoffs, including a direct slot in the semifinals
- Third place: A spot in the playoffs
- Fourth place: A spot in the playoffs
- Fifth place: A spot in the playoffs
- Sixth place: A spot in the playoffs
- Seventh place: Relegation
- Eighth place: Relegation
- Ninth place: Demoted to the Major League
- Tenth place: Demoted to Major League
The schedule
Season 2 of the S.K.I.L.L. Pro League will be taking place from September the 23rd until the October the 28th 2015, and will culminate in an offline grand final.
All matches throughout the season will be being played on Wednesdays, and on the 23rd of September the second season of the S.K.I.L.L. Pro League will officially kick off with a super week. Alex “Machine” Richardson will be on hand to bring you all the action, with the evening’s schedule being as follows:
- 20:00 CEST: Invictum vs. Epiphany Bolt
- 21:30 CEST: eSpartans vs. Team +351
