Are you ready for the ESL S.K.I.L.L. Pro League finals this Saturday?

This Saturday, the cream of the S.K.I.L.L. crop will meet at the ESL studios in Cologne to determine the champion of the ESL S.K.I.L.L. Pro League's second season. After fighting hard in the group stage and playoffs, EURONICS Gaming, Planetkey Dynamics, 31337 eSports and reigning champion PENTA Sports have made it to the final four, and will play for a total prize pool of €28,329.70 in these last three matches of the season.

Almost double the prize pool
While the teams had to work hard to get the chance to play for this immense prize pool, the S.K.I.L.L. community also did their part. By adding €13,329,70 to the original €15,000 base pool, the community has almost doubled the amount via in-game purchases of ESL Pro League Orgelboxes, which contain one of eight special weapon skins.

The final four: can anyone stop PENTA reclaiming their throne?
With this much money on the line - over €12,000 for the winners alone - this season’s title win will be even bigger than the last. Reigning champions PENTA Sports are once again part of the finals, having a chance to not only defend their throne but also to take home a nice reward for their many months of training.

PENTA Sports had the following to say about the ESL Pro League finals:
“We are really excited to participate in yet another ESL Pro League for S.K.I.L.L. Special Force 2. It was nice having ten teams in the Pro League this time instead of eight that we had last season. I think anything can happen on the LAN event, but I'd say we have a pretty good chance of performing well in the ESL studios.

We have also changed a player mid-season, so we need to use the time we have left before the event to fix the mistakes that we are prone to. I'd like to thank Gameforge, paysafecard and ESL for hosting yet another Pro League season of S.K.I.L.L Special Force 2. To the rest of the teams: good luck and may the best team win!”

You can find statements from all four participating teams on the ESL Pro League website.
