Jaunt Inc., the leading producer and publisher of fully-immersive cinematic virtual reality (VR) experiences, and ESL, the world’s largest esports company, today released the first VR esports documentary, CLG: Win Everythin’ which follows one team’s emotional journey to the 2016 Intel Extreme Masters World tournament held in Katowice, Poland. Jaunt’s exclusive partnership with ESL marries the cutting-edge technology of virtual reality to the rapid growth of a new sports league engaging fans with their favorite esports teams like never before.
Jaunt will capture and develop a series of immersive VR documentaries and experiences for all Intel® Extreme Masters tournaments, beginning with IEM Shanghai, July 28-31, 2016. The VR experiences will chronicle the exciting tournament world of ESL featuring today’s elite esport teams and athletes driving storylines from around the globe including pros such as Hydra, Darshan and Aphromoo.
The CLG: Win Everythin’ VR experience draws fans into the Los Angeles-based team’s very personal and inspiring story of Counter Logic Gaming, as viewers experience the daily routines, passion and dedication required for this team of elite esports athletes as they prepare for competition at the highest level. The six minute VR experience culminates with the trials and tribulations of the team, the oldest League of Legends team active to this day.
