Introducing the most extravagant Hearthstone tournament yet! ESL is proud to be the European partner of the second NetEase China vs. Europe tournament season, which is to be held at the end of March 2015.
After Europe’s dominant performance in the first China vs. Europe season, NetEase CEO William Ding was less than happy with the performance of the Chinese players, and so he vowed to bring the best out of them for season two. And he might have found just the right motivation: a Ferrari.
Having felt that the €52,000 prize pool and honor of representing China wasn’t enough, CEO Ding decided to throw in a brand new luxury sports car should there be a Chinese winner.
Not surprisingly, the Chinese participants are already set. The Hearthstone Gold Series just concluded in Shanghai and it not only crowned a winner but also served as a qualifier for the Chinese players attending the China vs. Europe event, with the top eight players from the Gold Series having been invited to represent China in the tournament.
Here are China’s players:
- Feng “IceFox” Xiao
- Yu “xyuan” Jianfei
- Qing Ye
- Wang “TiddlerCelestial” Xieyu
- Zeng “MagicWind” Guoyi
- Sleep Shaman
- RuoJi
