With the first match of the Halo Championship Series: Pro League Summer 2017 season just hours away, ESL is excited to announce that ASTRO will be The Official Communications Partner of the HCS Pro League this year. In addition to supporting the Summer and Fall seasons in Europe and North America, ASTRO will provide headsets, earbuds, and MixAmps at both DreamHack Atlanta and DreamHack Denver.
“ASTRO’s origins began in the pits of competitive Halo over 10 years ago. We worked hand in hand with pro teams to create an improved audio and communication solution with our original A40 Headset and MixAmp Pro. As the game and community have evolved, so have the environments in which teams compete,” said ASTRO Marketing VP Aron Drayer. “Today we’re excited to continue our partnership with ESL for the 2017 HCS Pro League events. With the latest modifications to our A40 TR Headset, the MixAmp Pro TR and In-ear monitors, competitors have a comfortable, reliable, dynamic audio solution allowing them to perform at their peak.”
Working together with ESL, ASTRO modified their A40 + MixAmp TR products to provide a custom audio experience for HCS Pro League competitors. Improvements include: increased noise isolation in the A40 TR Headset, custom tuning to the MixAmp TR firmware, and the addition of premium In-ear monitors to create a comprehensive audio solution suited for the ESL Main Stage.
